Coordinate System

F&F worlds are a grid where each unit represents 100 meters or approximately 1 minute of travel. If two POIs are 10 units apart, they are 1 KM or about a 10 minute walk apart.

How to Travel

To go somewhere in F&F, you just describe to Franz something along the lines of:

• "I walk 15 minutes North" (Mentioning a specific amount of time and direction)
• "I walk all the way to Ezra's Tavern" (Mentioning a specific POI)

Franz will automatically update your coordinates based on what you wrote. Since he is processing only your text, the more specific you are, the more accurate he will be at updating your coordinates. If you mention a specific POI, he will update your coordinates to the coordinates of that POI. If you use time + direction, he will use that.

Converting natural language into coordinate updates may not always be 100% accurate. There might be conflicting information or Franz might interpret something slightly differently than you. This is why we provide an easy way to correct any automatic updates.
